Find a suitable bench, box, or platform to step up onto. Be sure to use something that can adequately support your weight and is in a safe location. If you use a staircase, be sure to use the lower stairs where a railing is present. Step up with one leg, then the other. Step down with the opposite leg and reverse the leg you step up with. Hold dumbbells for resistance. For more of a challenge, hold the dumbbells overhead.
