This exercise will require a stretch band of appropriate tension, dumbbells, free weights, or ideally a cable machine. This exercise will take different forms depending on the equipment used.

If you are using weights you will be performing a bent over row. Keep the knees slightly bent and lean over at the waist. It is essential you keep your back straight and don't allow it to round over at any time. Pull the weight all the way up to your chest, then slowly lower it until your arms are straight.

If you're using a stretch band, loop it over an immovable object. Stand or ideally sit with your feet pressed against something. Pull all the way to your chest and the release until your arms are straight.
