There's more to a healthy lifestyle than just doing a few exercises every day.
One of the keys to living healthier is increasing your activity level.
Certainly our exercise program will help you do that, but you need long-term
sustained activity to truly burn fat and increase your metabolism. Your FitDaily routine already includes
intensive workouts, so your extra activity doesn't necessarily need to be as intensive.
It just needs to be something that keeps you up and moving around for an
extended period of time. And more importantly, it needs to be something that
you'll enjoy and look forward to doing at least twice a week.
Hopefully you have something in mind already. Some activity that you used to
do, or something that you've always wanted to try. Go for it! Don't put it off
any longer, and stop looking for excuses not to go. Make that phone call to set
up a lesson or a trial. Dust off your old equipment and find a new place to
practice.
So maybe nothing is coming to mind as far as activities go. Have you looked
into any social leagues in your area? How about the list of classes at your
local gym or YMCA? What about a local outdoor club? Search the web or check out
a phone book for private schools and clubs. If you can, get someone else
involved. If not, don't be afraid to go by yourself.
